The TradeGuru
System was developed during 2004 and market tested in 2005 using years
of market data and experience. The designers of the TradeGuru
System, Frank Minssieux and Dr.
Serge Dacic have a track record of designing successful investment
models such as TimingCube,
which has pioneered and is a leader in the field of trend following index
investing. While TimingCube
is a long-term investment system with infrequent trading, TradeGuru
is intended for more aggressive traders willing to seek out and capitalize
on short-term moves of select individual stocks.
The founders and partners
of TradeGuru
combine extensive backgrounds in finance, computer science, executive management
and investment services.
Frank
Minssieux
President and Co-Founder
As President
and Co-Founder of TradeGuru,
Frank is responsible for the development and maintenance and research of
the company's investment models.
Frank has more than 19 years of experience in the computer and software
industry. His career includes a wide spectrum of engineering and management
positions in companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations.
Frank spent 15 years at IBM where he held technical and managerial positions,
both in the US and Europe. He has extensive experience in designing and
architecting e-Business solutions utilizing Internet and Intranet technologies.
Frank's interest in the markets stems from more than ten years as a student
of the markets and as an individual investor. In partnership with co-founder
Serge Dacic, Frank leveraged his computer science background
and analytical skills to develop an investment system aimed at longer-term
trend timing. The promise of that model led Frank and Serge to found Fraser
Partners LLC (doing business as TimingCube)
in 2001, and MARKETTREND
Advisors, a full service money management and advisory company in 2004.
Frank is still active in both earlier companies.
Frank has a M.S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Ecole Speciale
des Travaux Publics, Paris, France.
Serge Dacic
Executive Vice President and Co-Founder
As Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of TradeGuru,
Serge is responsible for strategy and day-to-day operations of the company
as well as its information technology infrastructure.
Serge brings more than 14 years of corporate management and software engineering
expertise to TradeGuru.
His career includes a wide spectrum of management and technical positions
in companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. During his
9 years at Schlumberger, Serge oversaw multiple research and development
projects in Europe and the U.S.
During the five years prior to founding MARKETTREND
Advisors, Serge served as Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of
TimingCube
as well as Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of MARKETTREND
Advisors.
In his spare time, Serge studied investing and the markets. This interest,
combined with his computer science background, led Serge to a collaboration
with Frank Minssieux on a new type of market timing.
The promise of that model led Frank and Serge to found Fraser Partners LLC
(doing business as TimingCube)
in 2001, and MARKETTREND
Advisors, a full service money management and advisory company in 2004.
Serge is still active in both earlier companies.
Serge Dacic received his Ph.D. in Computer Science focusing on Artificial
Intelligence as it applies to image processing and adaptative systems from
Paris XI University, France. During his tenure at Paris XI, he taught graduate
computer science courses on User Interface Design, Usability and Software
Ergonomics.
